WHAT’S THE PROCESS FOR A TRANSFER OUT?

These steps explain the process of FFL transfers so that you can understand the process.

  1. Bring in the firearm.
  2. Supply the phone number, address, email for the receiving FFL.
  3. Supply the name, phone number, & address for the receiving customer.
  4. ID verification.
    -You must be of legal age.
    -LA resident with a valid (not expired) LA Driver’s License with your current address (No P.O.
    Boxes)
    -LA ID (not expired) with a photo and your current address (No P.O. Boxes)
    -Military ID with Current PERMANENT Orders are also acceptable.
    Utility Bills, Limited Driver’s Licenses, or Hunting Licenses are not valid/acceptable forms of
    ID.
  5. Fill out our in-store form.
  6. Pay transfer fee plus shipping.
  7. We will package the firearm if no package is provided, according to shipping regulations.
  8. We will ship the firearm.
    -Firearms must be compliant will all laws of receiving jurisdiction.
    -Some state restrictions may prohibit shipping – we will inform you as soon as possible if this is
    the case.
    -We do NOT ship to California.
    -Shipping to New York, Illinois and Massachusetts is dependent on location and type of firearm.
  9. Supply credit/debit card information for shipping costs.
  10. We will notify you of shipping/packing costs after package is dropped off at shipper.
  11. Tracking and all shipping paperwork will be emailed to you.
